What is a single ignition firework?

A single ignition firework, also known as a fireworks display box, is a large unit packed with various colours and effects that you light once to performs an entire fireworks display.

How long do they last?

Single ignition fireworks come in all shapes, sizes and durations. You can purchase single ignition fireworks that last anywhere from 30 seconds up to 2 minutes long.

Are single ignition fireworks difficult to use?

No, they are very easy to use. Simply light the single fuse attached to the firework, stand back and watch the display in action.

How much space do I need to be able to use a single ignition?

All large single ignition fireworks come with a recommended 25 metre safety viewing distance. It is strongly advised that all recommended safety distances are carefully followed.

Do I need to bury a single ignition into the ground?

On the packaging of every single ignition there is a recommended ‘bury’ line. You can bury the single ignition in soil or sand to make sure it is secure when lit. We point out that these are recommended instructions.

Are single ignitions suitable for children?

The majority of single ignition fireworks will be very loud and explosive so small children may find them disturbing but the majority of older children we believe would thoroughly enjoy them.

Do these fireworks have an expiry date?

No! As long as the fireworks are stored in a cool dry place they will generally not expire.

Are single ignitions waterproof?

In a way yes, the packaging is designed to withstand light rain fall and would still perform as normal when raining. It goes without saying that you cannot fully submerge these products in water and expect them to work afterwards. We suggest lining the bottom with plastic if possible to prevent any moisture being absorbed.

How safe are your fireworks?

We believe safety to be of the utmost importance. All our fireworks conform to British Safety Standards & European Regulations. They possess all relevant CE Marking and are licensed and approved by Trading Standards and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), where appropriate.

Will you provide safety instruction?
